The Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) will sponsor its first annual Pro Bono Recognition Reception. The event will recognize law firms and individuals who have met the requirements of the SCCBA Pro Bono Pledge in 2008 as well as those who have substantially increased their pro bono participation and special recognition to those who have given outstanding and significant pro bono service in 2008. This is part of the SCCBA Pro Bono Initiative: Helping Lawyers Help Others. This initiative also features an award winning website to match attorneys with pro bono opportunities:
