The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all communities and every aspect of our lives even as communities attempt to safely "re-open." Sadly, this includes sexual violence: reporting, medical care and supportive services have all been impacted by COVID safety restrictions. Further, survivors seeking legal assistance and protection find courts closed or overwhelmed as they begin to hear cases again. This webinar will consider how COVID responses are affecting responses to sexual violence nationally. We will also include a brief review of federal COVID legislation and what it offers survivors. We will learn about challenges faced in communities across the nation and lessons learned.

CART services will be available.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR CLE CREDIT.
