The New York State Courts Access to Justice Program
The New York State Courts Access to Justice Program seeks attorneys and recent law graduates to volunteer in the Family Court Volunteer Lawyer Program and in the Supreme Court Uncontested Divorce Program. Free CLE credits are awarded in return for pro bono service in these court-based programs.
- CLE Credit Comments: In return for 4 CLE credits and 10 pro bono CLE credits*, participants are required to complete 20 hours of pro bono service assisting litigants in the NYC Family Court Help Center within 6 months of training. All participants are supervised on site by attorneys with expertise in Family law. *(Newly admitted attorneys may use pro bono service credits on a carry-over basis).
