Keithe E. Nelson Memorial Military Law Luncheon

A bi-annual event honoring the life and legacy of Major General Keithe E. Nelson (USAF, Retired), the ninth Judge Advocate General, has become a forum for presentations by distinguished speakers on military law subjects. To purchase a ticket, you will need to register for the Midyear Meeting.

 

U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces Swearing in Ceremony

Admission requires filing the completed application, a check for $50.00 payable to the Clerk of the USCAAF, and original Certificate of Good Standing (with raised seal). Go to http://www.armfor.uscourts.gov, click on "BAR ADMISSION" on the left side for the application (all instructions are at the bottom of the application) and Rule 13, admission requirements. To overcome time delays in military mail security processing, have your original Certificate of Good Standing (with raised seal) from the Clerk of the COURT of your State Supreme Court, NOT Bar Association, sent directly FROM the appropriate State court officer listed on question 10 of the application TO:

Then, forward your application, check, and certificate of good standing (if possible) to the above address. It is suggested you either UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail (with tracking number) your application. Also bring copies of these documents with you to the Swearing In Ceremony. Your documents MUST, repeat, MUST be received no later than January 19 to insure receipt by Mr. Stratton who will hand carry them to the Court. Contact Michael Stratton if you can’t make this suspense. Attire for military is blouse with tie, or for civilians, coat and tie.
