In October 2012, the IRC in Oakland joined The Bay Area Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Implementation Initiative. The Initiative seeks to ensure significant numbers of undocumented immigrant youth and young adults have access to the new federal policy directive of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. If you or someone you know qualifies for DACA, please call 510-452-8222 and ask for our Immigration Department for information on applying. We are also seeking volunteers to assist in the outreach activities of this project.

Registration:
If you are interested in volunteering in Oakland send an email to Ingrid.Ovelar@rescue.org or VolunteerNC@rescue.org to RSVP for this training. If you cannot make it, we will be hosting other trainings in the future.
