Esperanza is a public interest legal organization serving the most vulnerable immigrants in the Los Angeles area. We provide direct representation and community education to unaccompanied children and adults in detention, who cannot afford legal representation in their in deportation proceedings. Under the new administration we will see more individuals placed into removal proceedings and detained, and reduced protections for immigrant children and their families. We are in urgent need of assistance.
