Esperanza is a public interest legal organization serving the most vulnerable immigrants in the Los Angeles area. We provide direct representation and community education to unaccompanied children and adults in detention, who cannot afford legal representation in their in deportation proceedings. Attorneys from all practice areas are invited to register for an attorney information session. Sessions are held on the first and third Thursday of the month from 12:30 - 1:30pm at the Esperanza office.

  • We identify the most vulnerable clients with the strongest legal claims and match them with pro bono attorneys.
  • We provide our pro bono attorneys with guidance resources, samples, trainings and mentorship to ensure that they can confidently and zealously represent their clients.
