This is an optional training for volunteers who are interested in participating in RAICES' Pro Se Asylum Clinic on January 28th. The January 24th training is mandatory.

•12 pm - 1 pm Overview of asylum law & procedure, withholding of removal, & Convention Against Torture protection
•1:30 pm - 3 pm Challenging fact patterns, case strategy & creative legal arguments.
•3:30 pm - 4 pm How to write a strong declaration & tips for working with trauma survivors
