Immigration Roundtable Breakfast

On October 5th, 2017 we were joined by supporters and friends in the legal aid community for a roundtable on immigration. Matthew Burnett, Immigration Advocates Network Director, moderated a panel of distinguished guests discussing the current immigration landscape and how the legal community can help to protect the rights of immigrants and ensure fair treatment and due process for all. As changes to immigration policy under the new administration continue to emerge, it is imperative now, more than ever, to ensure that the legal community is prepared to respond.

VAP’s successful advocacy relies on pro bono attorneys’ creativity and hard work, and the project is pleased to highlight recent wins by three different attorney teams from Loeb & Loeb, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
