CSN'S mission is to help low to moderate income clients access the knowledge, skills and services that promote independence and self-sufficiency. To accomplish this mission CSN services include homeless intercept services, landlord-tenant mediation, benefit advocacy employment advocacy, first time homeowner programs, as well as reverse mortgage counseling and foreclosure prevention counseling.
Volunteer Activities: Attorneys, paralegal and law students to provide information and court advocacy. Attorneys to give legal advice and to represent clients pro bono.

Short-term opportunities: assist first time homebuyers' with their purchase and sales agreements and in purchasing their first house. To assist tenants in dealing with their landlords.

Service area: Burlington, Lexington, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester and Woburn.
