S.J. Quinney College Of Law: Pro Bono Initiative

S.J. Quinney College of Law's Pro Bono Initiative actively volunteer supervising attorneys to assist at our Pro Se Legal Clinics in the Salt Lake Valley.

The role of a volunteer supervising attorney is to provide on-site direction to our volunteer law students that staff all of our Pro Se Legal Clinics. We have anywhere from 10+volunteer law students signed up to attend each legal clinic per date and time.

The purpose of our pro se legal clinics is to provide brief one-on-one instruction & assistance to low-income Utahns who cannot afford legal representation. Our PBI law student volunteers provide ALL intakes with each client on a one-on-one basis followed by one of the on-site volunteer supervising attorneys.

The Legal Clinics are open to any low-income Utahn on a first-come first-serve basis. Please be aware we do not make appointments. All PBI Legal Clinics are staffed by S.J. Quinney College of Law volunteer law students and volunteer on-site supervising attorneys.
