South Jersey Legal Services

SJLS is a non-profit organization created to provide quality legal representation and advocacy to low-income individuals. We seek to empower low-income individuals to access the judicial system so they will achieve the greatest possible measure of substantive, procedural and economic justice. Pro bono attorneys are matched with cases in their area of specialty for direct client representation and advice, training/mentoring of other attorneys or participation in a clinic setting. We also provide training and support to attorneys wishing to volunteer in new areas of law.
