Lafayette Parish Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers

The Lafayette Bar Foundation provides pro bono (free) legal programs to educate and guide the indigent, low-income, or disadvantaged within our community. These programs do not, in any way, replace the services that can be provided by hiring an attorney. In fact, should you have the means to hire an attorney, we strongly suggest you do so.

Below are programs currently provided by the Lafayette Bar Foundation. Eligibility for service depends on the program and is based on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, income in relation to family size, assets, and case type.
