Virginia Legal Aid Society seeks a veteran legal aid attorney with experience in all areas of legal aid practice to help supervise LawLine, a six-paralegal intake-and-advice hotline. The position works under the supervision of the unit Managing Attorney, and promotion to Managing Attorney is possible in 2008. The successful candidate will be energetic, flexible, passionate about legal aid, and provide respectful, efficient, high quality advice and leadership to the LawLine paralegals. Work on brief service cases is possible as time permits.
Position can be located in our Lynchburg, Farmville or Danville office. The salary is on our Senior Attorney scale, starting at $50,800 to $62,000 DOE with at least five years experience in legal aid.
