Every lawyer should have a basic understanding of these programs. Estate planning and elder law attorneys who advise clients on financial security need to know the ins and outs of the programs and where to find answers. This program will address the basics and more, including:

• The best age to start receiving retirement benefits
• The level of retirement income needed to supplement Social Security
• The benefits that can be lost if your client works past retirement age
• Coverage for long-term care
• The possible need for additional insurance to supplement Medicare
• The primary sources for further information
• Typical legal claims

QUESTION-AND-ANSWER SESSION

At the end of the program, you can push a number on your touch-tone phone and be placed in a queue for questions. When it's your turn, you enter the conference call in a mode that allows your question to be heard by the speakers and the rest of the telephone audience. The speakers will then discuss the question with you.
