Known Issues
This page contains known issues with probono.net. If you are experiencing any of the problems below, there is no need to report them as we are currently working on solutions.
Major Functionality
- Browse/Edit mode was not recreated post-redesign.
- There was a design issue with the graphic headers on HTML library resources and they have been temporarily removed.
FCKeditor/WYSIWYG content
- FCKeditor currently has very strict rules for acceptable HTML and currently discards table tags and other codes that not represented by buttons in the toolbar. For now, please stick with formatting exposed in the toolbar and provide feedback to support@probono.net about additional FCKeditor functionality.
- After saving FCKeditor content on area homepages and clicking the X in the popup window, the page does not automatically refresh to show changes. Currently, admins should manually refresh the page to view saved changes to homepage content.
- FCKeditor does not disappear once opened in the IE browser. Admins should continue to use Firefox when possible to edit their site.
- Spellcheck does not work in Firefox, but occasionally will work in IE.
- When admin opens two copies of FCKeditor at the same time within the same browser session and tries to upload an image, the directory of images available is only for the last copy opened. Close browser session and start again to solve this issue.
Widgets (RSS, tool feeds)
- The RSS widget sometimes does not correctly parse valid feeds, such as those from Feedburner.com
- The tool feed widgets (News, Calendar) sometime disappear after editing their options.
Flexible Content Pages
In rare circumstances, heavy editing of flexible content pages can result in duplicate child pages being created. Deleting these duplicate child pages may result in a "404: Page Not Found" error for the flexible content page and all child pages. Until this is fixed, let a page save completely before creating a new child page. If editing the same flexible page in multiple web browser tabs or windows, only make changes in one window at a time. Email support@probono.net if you experience duplicates or disapearing flexible pages as described above.
Mail Lists
- There is a problem that arises when listserv moderators use email out-of-office assistants/automated responses. Because out-of-office assistants trigger an email reply to incoming messages, they may inadvertently approve members or messages to a listserv without your knowledge while you're away. We are looking into the best way to resolve this issue, but for the time being please either refrain from using out-of-office assistants or change listserv moderators when you plan to be out of the office.
Other Issues
- There have been cosmestic issues with how some site pages are rendering in the IE browser (especially IE v6). We have been addressing these as we find them. Please feel send us a captured screenshot and the URL at support@probono.net if you encounter this.
