Enhancements and Fixes

• Webcasting Tool
  • Upgraded to Flash Media Server 2.0.
  • Integrated new IL webcasting module.
  • If you use the webcasting tool now, please email support@probono.net for more detailed list of changes.

• Site Search Engine
  • Improved overall speed in which search returns results, including no longer timing out on searches with hundreds of results.
  • Changed search interface to speed up return of results.

• FCKeditor Options
  • See new Style Guide chapter in Admin Manual.
  • Support for anchor links (jump links).
    

• Library
  
  • Able to post library resources to more than one folder.
  • Admins no longer able to switch file types after saving initial selection. Workflow is to delete resources and create new one. Was creating many "orphaned" documents in probono.net database. Will add copy functionality in next upgrade.
  • Cannot submit form with multiple files of same type (e.g., two Word docs, two Excel spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Folder titles limited to 200 characters.
  • Added back site headers to dynamic HTML attachments created through FCKeditor.

• Calendar
  • All FCKeditor icons now display in description field.
  • Same-day items now sort by time.
  • Item end date and time now "snap" to match the entered start date and time.
  • Can now set Date View to default to future week.
  • Removed default text in event contact form, but left field required to encourage users to submit more info re. their interest in the event.
  • Complete attachment file name now displaying to users.

• Listservs
  • Members will receive "unable to post" notice when sending Office 2007 files to listservs (because they cannot currently be indexed and searched).
  • Listserv name now displays next to listserv messages in search results.
  • Listservs accept up to 7 attachments.

• New Matters
  • Priority section now on Location View.
  • Case number field no longer required.
  • Primary state is now default.
  • Priority cases assigned to more than one topic no longer appearing multiple times.
  • Copy icon functionality now available.

• Flexible Content Pages
  
  • Fixed Creation and Last Updated dates to display correct dates.
  • Can now place a FCKeditor or any other type of widget under the right-hand page navigation display. Widget would appear on all child pages as well.

• General Design
  
  • Modifications to bring the template design more in-line with the original color guides and to allow more flexibility in customizing the color schemes. Include pixel space changes, new nav bar highlight arrow, and geo area nav bar color change.

• General Content
  
  • Auto-complete now on Library, Calendar and Matters organization fields. Pulling from National Opps Guide data.
  • Updated alt-text for home page titles and powered by probono.net images to enhance search engine rankings.
  • Limited site caching for public users to 15 minutes.
  • Removed automatic forwarding support for any leftover probono.net 2.0 links (created prior to December 2007, would contain .cfm in the URL).

• Sponsorship (Image) Widget
  • Able to delete complete alt-text.
  • Changed text labels from sponsorship to image widget to better explain functionality as an image rotation widget.

• News Widget
  • Dropped leading zero from single digit dates to make display easier to understand.

• Custom Resource Page
  
  • Note: this tool is currently in use only on ImmigrationAdvocates.org and DisasterLegalAid.org.
  • Added a "Show only public content" field.
