In order to help users navigate through probono.net more efficiently, we've updated our "Tips on Searching" page so it more accurately reflects the current search functionality on the site.

In honor of completing this task, this month we are spotlighting two resources that focus on the wonders of searching on the web, and how you can use it to increase your site's visibility.

- In July, Pro Bono Net created a LawHelp Resource Series Article that discusses tactics and strategies to help expand the online reach of the statewide client sites.

- One concept that is covered in the above article is "search engine optimization" (SEO). There is another great resource available on SWEB to help you understand the concept of SEO and how to put into practice on your sites.

- PALawHELP Court Channel Survey
Pennsylvania created a survey to collect user comments on their enhanced Court Information Channel.

- Connections in Crisis: Using Technology to Bring People Together
This PowerPoint was presented by Pro Bono Net at the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference in New Orleans this past March.

- How to Develop a Social Media Plan for Your Business in 5 Steps
Entering the world of Social Media is fantastic way to spread information, interact with your audience, and also to give them the ability to share with one another.

Below are several tools available in SWEB that you may find useful.

- The LiveHelp Project Manager's Toolkit is a comprehensive resource developed by Pro Bono Net for any organization interested in planning and implementing LiveHelp on their access to justice site.

- Do you want to include a link to a library resource in your newsletter or in an email without the clutter of an extremely long URL? You can create shortened links using the Link Abbreviation tool available in the Admin Inbox, under the Area Utilities section.

- The State Project Coordinators List has recently been updated.
