Founded by The Bar Association of San Francisco(BASF) in 1977, the Volunteer Legal Services Program is a nonprofit provider of free legal and social services to low-income individuals and families.

VLSP is the largest fully comprehensive civil legal services provider in San Francisco. Our nationally recognized, award-winning programs are holistic - integrating legal and social services in order to address the full spectrum of issues facing our clients. VLSP is pleased to host probono.net/bayarea in collaboration with other Bay Area legal services providers.
