Homeless Legal Assistance Project (Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma)

The Homeless Legal Assistance Project (HLAP) advocates for homeless persons to overcome legal barriers to housing and to obtain and preserve income. Types of cases include eviction defense, Social Security disability benefits, and appealing denial and/or termination of public benefits. HLAP is a program of the Tulsa Law Office of Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and serves homeless persons in Tulsa County. HLAP receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation.
