Organization Description:
The mission of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California is to advocate for civil rights, provide legal services and education, and build coalitions to positively influence and impact Asian Pacific Americans and to create a more equitable and harmonious society. APALC was founded in 1983, and serves more than 15,000 individuals and organizations each year through direct services, community education, training, and technical assistance. To achieve its goals of justice and equality, APALC draws on four strategies: direct legal services; impact litigation; policy analysis and advocacy; and leadership development.
