ECS provides comprehensive, individualized services to families interested in achieving self-sufficiency and enhancing family strengths. Families served by ECS Family Resource Centers possess: Low-income status and/ or other obstacles to economic independence, a strong interest in achieving self-sufficiency and moving toward family and personal goals, at least one member of the family who is eighteen years of age or older, with dependent children in the household. ECS Family Resource Centers advocate for families, connecting them, as appropriate, with resources in the areas of housing, employment, and family life. Attorneys are occasionally needed to work with clients in the following areas of law: family, administrative, housing/residential real estate, consumer, health care, disability, employment, education, juvenile, individual rights, and taxation. Attorneys must have their own malpractice coverage. Attorneys work with clients whose first language may or may not be English.
