AIDS Center of Queens County (ACQC) provides comprehensive social services for Queens residents with HIV infection or AIDS, their families, partners and caregivers. Services are provided in English and Spanish and include: Case Management, Mental Health, Legal Services, Harm Reduction, Housing Placement Program, Education Prevention, etc. The Legal Services Program provides legal advice, referrals, and education on HIV-related issues, including entitlements, housing, family matters, discrimination, debt management and confidentiality. The program provides advocacy and representation in selected matters. We provide counsel and assist clients in understanding the need for developing advance directives including wills, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies and medical directives, and assist our clients in preparing these documents.
