Advocates for Children of New York, Inc.

Advocates for Children (AFC) is a not-for-profit organization which provides advocacy for students and their families on a wide array of educational issues affecting public school students in New York City. The Pro Bono Project assists AFC in its work in the areas of school suspension and special education administrative hearings. Lawyers and paralegals provide pro bono representation for families who have children with disabilities and students who are suspended from high school. Training is provided in the areas of special education and suspension.
