Pro Bono Net

Lawyers serving the public good.

CAMINOS

CAMINOS, has as its objective to serve the economically disadvantaged community; those who lack an understanding and the resources necessary to navigate through our judicial system. Our judicial system is often confusing, constantly evolving, and at times is unfair. This objective is reached by two paths, legal representation of victims of violence and education of the law.

As an entity composed of attorneys and educators we take the law to the classrooms, and community explaining the law, with a concentration on domestic violence. We understand that the family nucleus is the pillar of society. Therefore, domestic violence has a destructive impact on our community. This is the reason we focus on domestic abuse and we seek to educate the community about this subject.

Additionally, another area of focus is Immigration Law. We provide educational forums educating, explaining and alerting the community about Immigration Law.

Services provided include pro-bono legal representation for indigent victims of domestic violence. Processing of VAWA, U and T visa applications free of cost.
