Washoe Legal Services provides legal services to qualified residents of Washoe County (Nevada) accepted by the agency, in the following areas of law:
• PRIVATE LANDLORD/TENANT: • Unlawful evictions • Landlord/tenant disputes • Lockouts • Security Deposits • Hazardous Conditions • Discrimination
• CONSUMER: • Fair Debt Collection • Unlawful Automobile Repossessions
• BANKRUPTCY (monthly clinics only)
• CHILD ADVOCACY: • Representation of abused and/or neglected children and low cost adoptions for children in the custody of Social Services
• IMMIGRATION: • VAWA Self-Petitions • Preparation of Immigration Forms (Fees Charged for these services)
• FAMILY LAW INVOLVING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: • Divorce • Custody • Temporary Protection Orders
