  • Organization: Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma

OBA President Jim Stuart announced that his theme for 2013 would be "Oklahoma lawyers giving back", and then soon after, September 20-21 was declared as the OBA Day of Service.  With the help of the OBA Young Lawyers Division; county bar leaders and legal organizations planned projects that gave back to local communities all over the state.

LASO staff and volunteers planned activities in honor of the OBA Day of Service.

Oklahoma County –Sept 21
The Oklahoma City Law Office partnered with the Oklahoma County Bar Association to offer a legal advice clinic at the Epworth United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 21st.  The clinic was a huge success!

Many thanks to our volunteer attorneys John Williams, David Miley, John Miley, Bill Ford and Tai Du and our legal secretaries Susan Blethrow and Penny Denton! We appreciate these volunteers who generously donated their time to help so many people on a Saturday morning!!!
