Common Pro Bono Projects (check all of our opportunities listed on the right)
New Cases:
You can now 'review' a case.
Go to the New Cases page.
Cases are sorted by Location. You can also sort by Topic by clicking the TOPIC link in the "View By: Location/Topic" section near the top.
See a case that looks interesting?
Click on the topic description. A more detailed description allows you to indicate your interest in that case in the Case Management section "Review this case."
A coordinator will contact you for a conflicts check and to discuss the case.
When you decide to 'Accept' the case, you can do so online on the case description page.
If you 'Reject' the case, it will be returned to 'Open' status for another volunteer to consider.
Subscribe to the page and when a new case is posted meeting the criteria you select, you will receive an email.

Self-Referral:
You may already be working with a low-income client.
You can 'self-refer' a client to Legal Aid and keep the case as your pro bono contribution.
This will earn you the many benefits of pro bono with Legal Aid AND you pick the client.
