Campaign for Justice 2012 planning in full steam – October 10, 2012

- Organization: Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County, Inc.
By any measure, the Campaign for Justice is among the Rochester legal community’s many points of pride. CFJ, the annual phonathon fund drive to support free civil legal services for the indigent, will be held the evening of Nov. 13 with daytime calling on Nov. 28.
CFJ is currently in its 26th year as one of the most successful legal services fundraisers in the country. CFJ is unique among such fundraisers because it benefits three of Rochester’s providers; Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County, the Legal Aid Society of Rochester and the Monroe County Legal Assistance Center, a Division of LawNY. Instead of asking the community to support three separate fundraisers, the agencies work collaboratively to solicit one donation to be shared among them.
