Description of Session: This program features Lawyers Alliance for New York, which works with pro bono attorneys from law firms and corporations, and focuses on business and transactional pro bono opportunities that help nonprofit organizations throughout the city. Lawyers Alliance will present a substantive training related to preparing and revising nonprofit by-laws. In addition, you will learn how to find interesting pro bono projects from Lawyers Alliance as well as our supporting resources such as model documents on www.probono.net/ny.
Presenters: Lawyers Alliance for New York Legal Director Linda Manley and Pro Bono Manager Jolynda Burton.
