Advanced Consumer Debt Training

Free C.L.E. Civil Court Volunteer Lawyer for the Day Program in exchange for volunteer service in the Civil Court of New York, Kings, Queens or Bronx Counties.

This program offers training for lawyers to provide pro bono limited legal representation to unrepresented litigants by helping to negotiate stipulations of settlement, raise defenses and more in consumer debt cases. Note: A prerequisite for this program is Basic Consumer Debt training.

in cooperation with New York Appleseed, New York County Lawyers' Association, Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project and New York Legal Assistance Group.
