Symposium on Representing People with Mental Illness

Mental Health Law Project at MFY Legal Services will be holding a symposium titled "Representing People with Mental Illness: Partnerships, Perceptions, and Perspectives on Guardians ad litem."

The symposium will include three panels entitled Challenges of a Mental Health Practice: Toward a Collaborative Model, Perceptions of Mentally Ill Persons in Court Contexts, and Powers and Limitations of Guardians ad litem. The Perceptions of Mentally Ill Persons panel will include Justice Shlomo Hagler, and the Guardians ad litem panel will include Judges Marc Finkelstein and Gerald Lebovits.

Registration will begin in mid-January.
