New LawHelp Resources for all of New York State

LawHelp/NY has expanded to include information for the entire state. Whether you live in New York City, upstate, central or western New York, you can now use LawHelp to find free legal resources and information in your own community.
Find a Lawyer: Choose your county from the drop down menu or type in your zip code. Then click on your legal problem to find detailed information on free legal services offices that serve your community.
Know Your Rights: To find information about the law and your legal rights, after you choose your legal topic and subtopic, click on the "KNOW YOUR RIGHTS" tab on the top of the page. LawHelp has fact sheets, frequently asked questions and answers and other information for all of New York State on topics such as Family & Juvenile, Public Benefits, Housing, Consumer and Health law.
Other Help: Click on "OTHER HELP" to find information about community organizations, social services and other groups or help in your area.
