Attorneys will be trained to represent inMotion-referred clients in child custody and visitation matters in Family Court. Procedural and substantive aspects will be discussed in detail, as well as tips on how to represent and advise victims of domestic violence. Training manuals and sample documents will be provided.
A case with child custody/visitation issues will be assigned at the training or shortly thereafter. Attorneys can work on the case individually or as part of a team of two or more attorneys. Often, clients with custody/visitation matters are also seeking orders of protection. We encourage attorneys to attend this training and the order of protection training if handling a case with both issues.
*Please note that this training is open only to attorneys from major law firms.
