Learn about Medicare's Part D prescription drug benefit, how it operates and who is eligible. Find out how it works for those who also receive Medicaid, EPIC, the Medicare Savings, Program or who have a prescription plan from an employer. We will also review the enrollment process: when and how to enroll, how often one can disenroll and enroll into another plan, what a beneficiary needs to find out before enrolling, and how to avoid late enrollment penalties. Learn the steps a beneficiary can take if the plan denies a particular drug. Find out the Medicare.gov plan finder works. Cost of workshop is $50.00. Online registration required at: http://benefitsplus.cssny.org/home/training
