This free training will help advocates troubleshoot common issues faced by clients seeking public assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, or other public benefits. The training will also include tips on interviewing clients, obtaining and reviewing records and other case information, as well as how to request a fair hearing, reapply for benefits, and obtain other forms of relief. Select problems such as denials, multiple notices and work-related issues will be addressed.

  • CLE Credit Comments: .5 Professional Practice & 1 Skills credits. This training is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
