The training on Religious Immigration will address the requirements, in the sponsoring entity and in the beneficiary, for both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. The complete application process will be explained as well as consideration given to various time constraints. Special attention will be paid to the regulations currently in effect as of Nov. 2008. This training will be conducted by Fr. Michael Burke, Esq., Director of Legal Services, Catholic Family & Community Services Legal Services Department, and Meaghan Tuohey-Kay, Esq. , Law Offices of Meaghan Tuohey-Kay.

A fee will be charged for this training.
In case of economic hardship, fee waiver or reduction may be available upon request.

  • CLE Credit Comments: CLE credit: 3 credits in professional practice. This course provides transitional credit for newly admitted attorneys and non-transitional credit for experienced attorneys.
