This free training will cover basic appellate issues relating to domestic violence, especially as it relates to family offense and custody proceedings. Topics will include basic appellate procedure, appellate review of pro bono petitions, appellate review of motions to dismiss for failure to state a family offense claim, statues of limitations and family offenses, and major case law on custody and domestic violence.
