Lawyers Alliance is pleased to provide our members with periodic updates regarding the Nonprofit / Community Development Area of Probono.net, and with Lawyers Alliance in general.

Lawyers Alliance will be hosting a Webinar as part of Pro Bono Net's Pro Bono in New York Webinar series. Please join us this Tuesday, October 20th at 2pm EST for "An Introduction to the Lawyers Alliance Pro Bono Program and a Substantive Training on Nonprofit By-laws."

Our website, www.lawyersalliance.org, remains a helpful resource for those who are actively working on pro bono matters. Volunteers can use the site to complete case closing questionnaires as well as CLE for Pro Bono forms.

And finally, our annual volunteer recognition event - the Cornerstone Awards - will be held Tuesday, October 27th, 6-8pm at Pfizer's conference space at 150 East 42nd Street, NYC. Please send RSVPs to hpolese@lawyersalliance.org.
