Working together with city officials and FEMA, NYLAG is mobilizing to provide staff at the disaster relief centers that are being set up through New York, as well as at many other community-based organizations and hospitals with which we have long partnered. Its attorneys and volunteers will be onsite to provide legal advice to victims dealing with issues including FEMA claims, housing disputes, consumer matters and emergency public benefits.
