Pace Women's Justice Center seeks Executive Director

Pace Law School seeks an experienced professional to serve as its Executive Director of the Pace Women's Justice Center (PWJC or the Center). The Executive Director must continuously create opportunities for enhanced funding, recognition and service provision for the Center and must simultaneously strive to end violence against women, children and the elderly. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing staff and overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs at the PWJC; developing and securing governmental and private sector funding to continue and expand programs at the PWJC; working with PWJC staff to recruit, interview and hire new members of the PWJC staff; recruiting students from Pace and outside Universities and Law Schools and obtaining funding for their services; working with the director of finance and other staff to manage all fiscal elements of the Center including accounting procedures, allocation of resources, and salaries.
Minimum job qualifications are: BA; JD; at least 5 years practice; experience working with non-profits; experience working in the areas of family law, women's issues, or domestic violence litigation. Grant-writing and fundraising background a plus; Spanish-speaking a plus.
