Matrimonial Law Practice — Part II
In this two-part training, attorneys will be trained to represent an inMotion client in a litigated divorce action in Supreme Court. Detailed training manual and sample documents provided.
An uncontested or a contested divorce case will be assigned at the end of the training. Attorneys can work individually on the case or as part of a team of two or more attorneys. Assigned pro bono uncontested divorce cases will not require court appearances; judgment is granted following the submission of the appropriate documents. Assigned litigated divorce cases will require at least one court appearance. Part II issues to be addressed will include: equitable distribution of marital property, spousal support or maintenance, child support; and child custody and visitation
Prerequisites: You must attend Part I of the training in order to participate in Part II, unless you have attended a previous inMotion “uncontested divorce” training, or have matrimonial experience.
We encourage everyone to take Parts I and II of the Summer Matrimonial Law Practice Series for a total of 5 CLE credits.
Online Registration will be available on July 2, 2008 at. www.inmotiononline.org - if there are specific questions, please contact Maria Correa at mcorrea2inmotiononline.org
