The Helping America Vote symposium will explore innovative reforms that will place voters at the center of the electoral process. New legislative proposals on voter registration, voting technology, ballot design, voter ID laws, and the selection of election officials are just a few of the ways to restore the primacy of voters and the integrity of the democratic process.
The 2008 election season brought an unprecedented level of attention to the system of election administration in this country, and as we move into the 2010 election cycle, these issues will again be at the forefront of public debate.
The symposium will be a day-long event this Thursday, April 1st, 2010, and is open to the public.
In addition, there are 6.5 CLE credit hours available for full day attendance.
