Learn what the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is and how it will impact New Yorkers as it goes into effect January 2014. Enrollment into health plans will begin October 1st and you want to be prepared with the answers. This training will provide you with the information and resources on how ACA will expand access to health care, new consumer protections, what financial is available to low and moderate income populations, what kind of plans will be available, what steps to take to purchase a plan, as well as application and renewal procedures, including verification, and where to look for answers and other resources and the consumer protections that ACA affords.
