This training will cover grounds for claiming asylum and related relief, persecution and well-founded fear of persecution, the definition of torture, expedited removal, credible fear interviews, the one-year filing deadline, firm resettlement, changed country conditions, and evidence. This training will provide up-to-date information regarding the material support bar as well as provide practical tips on putting together an asylum application. The training will be conducted by Prof. Dan Smulian, Esq., of the Safe Harbor Project at Brooklyn Law School.
A fee will be charged for this training.
