This training will cover how immigrant victims of domestic violence, who are not married to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents, can apply for the T nonimmigrant visa for victims of human trafficking. Information on changes under VAWA 2005 will be discussed. The training will be conducted by Kathleen Slocum, Esq. and Lori Cohen, Esq. of Sanctuary for Families. A fee will be charged for this training.
In case of economic hardship, fee waiver or reduction may be available upon request.
