In this two-part training, attorneys will be trained to represent an inMotion client in a litigated divorce action in Supreme Court. Detailed training manual and sample documents provided. An uncontested or a litigated divorce case will be assigned at the training or shortly thereafter. Attorneys can work individually on the case or as part of a team of two or more attorneys.
Assigned pro bono uncontested divorce cases will not require court appearances; judgment is granted following the submission of the appropriate documents.
Assigned litigated divorce cases will require at least one court appearance.
Part II issues to be addressed will include: equitable distribution of marital property, spousal support or maintenance, child support; and child custody and visitation.

- CLE Credit Comments: You must attend Part I of the training in order to participate in Part II, unless you have attended a previous inMotion “uncontested divorce” training, or have matrimonial experience 3 CLE credits upon course completion 1.5 skills / 1.0 professional practice / 0.5 ethics Up to 6 CLE pro bono credits for providing an inMotion client with direct legal representation (1 skills credit for every 300 minutes, up to a maximum of 6 credits per attorney registration period)
