This free training will cover eligibility rules for public health insurance programs including Medicare, Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Family Health Plus. We will also discuss what medical services each program covers, how the insurance programs work in conjunction with each other, and frequent problems that arise in each program. Lastly, there will be information on charity care available for the uninsured at certain New York City hospitals.
