The New York City Bar Association is now soliciting nominations for the Nineteenth Annual Legal Services Awards. The awards recognize outstanding efforts of those who have been working full time in providing direct legal services to low income clients. The Association will honor the winners at a reception on May 15th.

People eligible for this award are:
• Attorneys who have, for an extended period during their career, devoted themselves full time to the direct provision of free
legal services to indigent persons.

In addition, the Legal Services Awards Committee, which sponsors the award, will consider making an award to:
• Nonlawyers who have, for an extended period during their career, devoted themselves to and supported the process of
providing free legal services to indigent persons, also on a full-time basis.
