Put Something Back, a joint pro bono project of the Dade County Bar Association (DCBA) and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, recognized Hogan Lovells with the 2011 Outstanding Large Law Firm Pro Bono Award during DCBA’s 22nd annual recognition luncheon.

“We deeply appreciate Put Something Back’s recognition of our commitment to providing pro bono legal services to members of our community who are most in need,” said Alvin Lindsay, a partner in the Miami office of Hogan Lovells US LLP. “This award is a meaningful acknowledgement of our individual lawyers’ roles as active and engaged citizens in our community.”

In the past year, Hogan Lovells’ Florida lawyers provided nearly 2,500 pro bono hours handling cases, staffing clinics, and participating in projects protecting those in greatest need in the region. Hogan Lovells was selected for the award based on its overall achievements, including greatest numbers of pro bono hours provided, pro bono participants, and pro bono matters.

The Outstanding Large Law Firm Pro Bono Award is presented annually to a law firm that provides exemplary pro bono services benefitting the poor of Miami-Dade County.
